poets from across the world for a poetry anthology, “Ink of a new generation”

of a new generation is made up of a total of eleven poets from Zimbabwe,
Nigeria, South Africa, India and Netherlands whose thoughts are made into ink
for broader expansion.
A total of 115 poems are in the book.
Ink of a new generation is a ground breaking book project
which was conceptualized in the heart of social networking. A result of
internet connectivity which has broken the barriers of distance and enabled
poets from different countries to contribute to this exciting and educational
book.
The theme of the book is mainly of empowering the youths,
giving them the voice, letting them speak their minds through their pens. “Let
the ink flow, let the words flow” is the main philosophy of the book.
Experiences of people from Abidjan to Soweto, from Delhi to Brasilia said in
different words and ways, but remain an attempt to portray the same. The happiness,
the smiles and hope colored in poetry give light and confidence to the young,
the new generation.
Zimbabwe provided Brian Tafadzwa Penny, Gerald Brilliant
Mtetwa, Joshua Munyaradzi Minama and the Editor Taurai Mutoti while Nigerians
Banjo Omogbehin, Chibuzor Immaculate Ikemenogo, Chukwu Uchanta and Onyedika
Okolo make their voices heard in the anthologhy.Hsien Lou.Neelam Rathore and
Pattra Shuwaswat emerged from South Africa, India and Netherlands respectively
to complete the chain of poets in the book.
