LOCAL actor- cum- comedian Blessing “Paperbag” Bafu expanded his acting prowess in a new local film “Akanaka Ndiani?
Written by veteran novelist and actor, Charles Mzemba, “Akanaka Ndiani?” is a story of Kuda (Blessing Bafu) and his wife (Nakai Tsuro) in solving the conflicts they come across in their marriage. It is one story that exposes men’s weaknesses in protecting their territories.

Upon giving a nice comment to Kuda’s friend, Kuda himself became jealousy and suspected his wife was playing games behind his back. This results in conflicts and misunderstanding.

“I’m so happy for my audience. Every new production to me brings new things. When I was auditioned for the role of Kuda in the film I take it as my finest hour and then it happened the way I was expecting”, said Paperbag.

Born and bred in Mbare, Paperbag narrated how he shifted from being a good goalkeeper to a stage performer.

“I was a goalkeeper during my school days at George Stark High, a real shot stopper.Kutaura kuno ndingadai ndakatombobatirawo maWarriors kana idzo team dzekunze, but I found myself on stage in one of Stodart Club rooms singing theatre songs.
Tichaona “Skimbo”Munodawafa discovered my talent and advised me that I was much more better in acting than soccer.I complied and the rest was history”, said Bafu
